Grand Opening this Weekend, May 18 -20

BBQ and Beer fans,

All of our smoked ribs and meat are coming out just the way we want them to. Our smoker makes everything juicy and tender with lots of great flavor. Thank you to everyone who has been able to stop by and check us out. We are trying out some new appetizers; one with nachos as well as sliders with “heat.” Be sure to stop by soon!

Grand Opening this Weekend, May 18 -20

We have been preparing for this weekend and hope everyone will stop by, it should be a blast! We will kick-off the weekend with a cask of Sculpin IPA, Friday, May 18 at 5pm. Our friend Doug, brewer at Ballast Point, and one of the orginal “inventors” of Sculpin, will be with us and will break open the seal on the cask to get our weekend started. Thank you to all the folks at Ballast Point for hooking us up with great beer. Over the weekend we will be pouring at least 8 different Ballast Point beers to help us celebrate our Grand Opening. On draft look for Sculpin, ( yes, Sculpin in cask and also on draft) Longfin Lager, Abandon Ship, Even Keel- a great tasting session IPA, Steamboat Lager a black lager that is new from this great brewery, Sextant Oatmeal Stout on nitro and other Ballast Point beers we all enjoy.

Saturday, May 19, 33 different beers on tap

Saturday will be awesome! I thought that when we installed a 28 Tap Tower system that would be enough to handle our special celebrations. I should have known better. Tom is arranging for so much great beer that we will have to utilize additional handles to get all 33 beers on tap. Tyson from O’ Brien’s will hook us up with the extra handles on Saturday. We can all look forward to some great beers like Victory at Sea from Ballast Point, Apprentice from the new brewery, Societe, and Tom has let me know that something from Alpine will make it’s way onto our draft list. Which beer from Alpine? I don’t even know. So stop by this Saturday and find out which great Alpine beer we will be pouring. I can hardly wait to find out myself. Tom also let me know that what we have all been waiting for is coming to West Coast! 1870 IPA from Julian Brewing Company will make it’s way down the mountain to La Mesa. So hurry over and get some 1870 while you can. I have three surprise beers for you as well, but you will have to stop by on Saturday to check them out. We will be open from 11:30am -11pm. Update on our operating hours and looking ahead

We will be expanding our bottle list over the next few weeks so stop and find out what bottles we have added. Also, we just expanded our hours and we are now open 11:30am-11pm Friday and Saturday; 11:30am-7pm on Sunday; 4pm – 10pm, Tuesday – Thursday and closed on Monday. We are looking forward to our daily food specials board that you can check out when you stop by. Coming in the near future to our draft list are Sierra Nevada Southern Harvest and Firestone Parabola!
